8 cups oil for frying
½ cup milk
1 pound (454 grams) crystal springs cheese curds
2 cups flour
1 bag (10 Ounce) nacho flavoured Doritos crushed into crumbs
Ranch (optional) for dipping
Heat oil in deep fryer to 375F
Combine milk and eggs into a bowl, whisk until smooth.
In another bowl, toss cheese curds with flour to coat. Place the crushed Doritos into their own bowl. Dip cheese curds into the egg mixture, then roll them in the Dorito crumbs until they are covered. (If the curds don’t become completely coated, dip them into the eggs, and then the Doritos again.)
Fry curds in batches for 60 seconds each batch. Drain on paper towel. Serve immediately.
