Crystal Springs Cheese (Established in 1984)


Evert and Jannie Beyer realized a dream when back in May of 2005 they purchased Crystal Springs Cheese. They had always wanted to own a dairy manufacturing facility. After responding to a classified ad in a local industry magazine this dream became reality.

The first few years was spent working on Feta and Gouda, expanding the company customer base and perfecting the Art of making cheese. Crystal Springs has been a labor of love and a family passion.

Along with our founder Evert, his sons Jacco and Harvey operate the cheese factory and son Theo runs the dairy farm.

Operations Manager

Harvey remains very involved in the cheese plant and has been tasked with overseeing renovations of the cheese plant, as well as any new projects that come along.

Cheese Maker

Jacco’s job at Crystal Springs is running day to day operations. He makes cheese every day, and oversees and takes part in all the daily production work.

Evert stays involved in the dairy and cheese factory by supervising and dealing with customers. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and making steak.

Jocelyn is working alongside her brothers helping in the production of our cheese as well as helping in the packaging of each product.

Dairy Farmer

Growing up on Canadian prairies Theo found his passion for farming and taking care of animals!  Theo spends long days tending to the family dairy which he started managing for his father at a very young age.
